Freighter services

Finnair started its own 'cargo only' flights on the Seoul and Hong Kong routes in
May 2010. Freighter flights are operated using a Boeing MD-11, which was formerly used
in Finnair's passenger traffic but has been converted into a cargo aircraft. 

Freighter services now cover also Mumbai, New York, Shanghai and Frankfurt. For schedules please see the Freighter timetable. 

The MD-11's cargo capacity is approximately 80,000 kilos and 500 cubic metres. Capacity details:

• 26 main deck plts (max height 240cm)
• 6 lower deck plts (max height 160cm) and 7 LD6 for lower deck
• Loadable: 20 feet pallet, max 10.000 kg/piece
